Don’t waste your time.,
Don’t waste your time. It’s a counterfeit battery.
- differences in font on the back of the battery
- lighter than the genuine BlackBerry battery
- spelling errors (“Capaciy”)
- absence of white rectangular plastic thing at the bottom opposite the battery contacts
- generally lackluster build quality
- won’t fit into my BlackBerry (yes, it is a BlackBerry 9700 with an M-S1 battery)
As I said, don’t waste your time.

|BlackBerry Battery, Great Value!!,
The BlackBerry 9700 battery arrived within 2 days of ordering. Very Fast! It works perfectly. Highly recommend this seller. AT&T wanted $49.99 for the exact same battery. This was a very good value. It is not a cheap imitation either. It is an OEM battery, just like the one that came with the device.

|Excellent Merchant Purchase,
I’ve been travelling a lot with my BlackBerry 9700 recently and I had been burning through its battery at a much faster rate than normal. Every so often I was faced with a phone that died during the evening, and so I turned to Amazon to see what I options I had.
This? This is the real deal, an OEM battery that makes you glad you have a BlackBerry. I picked it up from Joyce’s, and they sent it almost as fast as Amazon could even with Prime. More importantly, now I have two batteries for a fraction of the cost of ‘battery extenders’ or ‘charging pods’. Whenever I run out, I just pop the other battery in and I’ve got enough power for two more days.
Can’t go wrong with that!
